A hybrid boat for a different kind of sailing!
Passionate about the sea, we have always been keen to share the riches of our region in a different way...
Aware of the impact of mass tourism on the environment, it was in 2015 that we discovered hybrid-powered boats: an innovative solution!
It was then that we decided to embark on this wonderful adventure that is Latitude Verte around two essential points:
- Less impact on the natural environment.
- Discover our coastline in a more confidential way.
As of 2019, we are proud to present theO₂, the Var's first hybrid boat. Human-sized with a capacity of 50 passengers and suitable for people with reduced mobility, its electric autonomy enables us to offer rides while limiting C0₂ emissions and noise pollution within the Port-Cros National Park and the Îles d'Or.
The Hybrid Boat: O₂
Come aboardO₂ ! The first hybrid-powered boat in the Var to offer guided excursions to the Isles of Gold, Porquerolles & Port-Cros , as well as to the residence of the Presidents of the Republic, Fort Brégançon in Bormes-les-Mimosas.
Sail quickly to your destination, then let yourself be lulled solely by the sound of the sea, the cicadas and your captain's comments... Its shallow draught will allow you to appreciate the historical heritage as well as the rich flora and fauna of the natural heritage of the Port-Cros National Park.
Between "responsible" navigation and commentary with anecdotes and stories, take the time to sail differently with the crew's good humor...

Commitment to the preservation of the island of Porquerolles :
At Latitude Verte, we are deeply committed to preserving the environment. Since our creation in 2019, we have chosen a human size for our boat in order to limit our impact on the island of Porquerolles, in response to the problem of tourist overcrowding. In 2021, we strengthened this commitment by joining in the regulation of access to the island and limiting the number of passengers on board our boat on days when it is too busy. We are proud to contribute to the protection of this unique territory, and we adhere to measures for sustainable, environmentally-friendly tourism.
